We shall walk together on the path of life, for all things are part of the universe and relate to each other to form one whole unity.
Funun Arts along with Novotel World trade center organized an art exhibition with the title “The Walk of Life” where 30 artists from different nationalities participated showcasing their artworks and photographs presenting their thought about the walk of life. The exhibition was full of diverse forms of arts like abstract, contemporary, mix media, photographs and all forms were beautifully presented. It was a pleasant sight for the eyes of the viewer.
As always Funun Arts added an additional feather to enhance the beauty of the event by doing live painting by collaborating with an organization “4get me not”. This is an organization serving the senior citizens and Alzheimer patients. Participating artists joined hands with senior citizens and created the artwork which then became the part of the ongoing art exhibition.
The event started with the melodious live music played by Dr.Qais Salman, who was one of the participating artist. The music created a very relaxing atmosphere which was enjoyed by everyone, especially the senior citizens who were completely in the flow and couldn’t resist themselves from dancing.
The art exhibition was inaugurated in the presence of Mr. Ahmed Al Awadhi, legendary artist and businessman, Mr. Ismaeil Al Hammadi, CEO of ACE Carpets, Mrs. Reena Mahajan, Founder of Indian Women in Dubai, besides them were great artists like Mr. Anjani Prakash Laitu, Mr. Atul Panse and Mr. Nazar Haidiri.
Shiba Khan, artist and Founder of Funun Arts said: Creating every art event is always a new challenge for us because we don’t want to end up with just an art exhibition. We want to create something different with new concept, new ideas and a new message. We want when people visit our exhibition, they should experience something new and go with an awareness. Even for artists, this works like brainstorming and opens them a creative window. To achieve the highest accomplishments within the scope of our capabilities in all walks of life we must constantly strive to acquire strong, healthy bodies and develop our minds to the best of our ability. In this exhibition my two artworks from the SHIFARA collection are exhibited which reflects my perspective on walk of life.
Desiree O. Vlekken, the founder of 4Get me Not said:” This is one of the best opportunities for senior citizens because they are completely involved into it. Colors have that therapeutic power which gives relaxation and brings happiness. And this is something that we can experience on the faces of everyone, they all are so happy, and this is the best thing which we want to achieve.
Farah Khan, co-founder, and creative designer of Funun Arts said: We believe that Art is the best way to express. There are so many different walks of life, so many personalities in the world. And no longer do you have to adopt the lifestyle of others; you can truly be yourself. Be creative and be unique. We are happy to serve the society and taking art on another level with our events. We are always thankful to our Artists, supporters, media, and friends. This event was made special by senior citizens. It was amazing to see smiles on their faces and to see how these wonderful souls were enjoying to the live painting session.
Ahmed Al Awadhi said: Artists are the people with the purest soul and heart filled with love and emotions. This was well experienced during their interaction while the live painting session. I am so glad to be the part of Funun Arts event as every time they come up with something unique and amazing.
Mrs. Reena Mahajan said: This is my first event with Funun Arts and I am very happy to collaborate with them. This event is very well organized with a beautiful thought behind it. I am looking forward to working together with them in the future.
Ismaeil Al Hammadi, CEO of ACE carpet said: We can experience such beautiful artworks by all the artists. It is a very nice thought to bring artists and people from different walks of life together on one platform. It creates the feeling of love and harmony.
Shiba Khan and Farah Khan along with the 30 participating artists wants to convey the message to the society:
“Our dream is to continue to be an artist who gets to be different individual from different walks of life, we all are different and have different story to tell but what is common in us is we all are creative and want to create the world with love, peace and harmony”.
