An art competition organized by Artscrafts on the Amrit Festival of Independence!

Under the creative pursuit, artists from all over the world participated for this unique contest and created four themed artworks. A three-day exhibition will be organized at the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi.

On 75 years of Indian independence, Amrit Mahotsav is being celebrated across the country. In this occasion, Articrafts is celebrating Amrit Festival of Independence. This is a unique event of three-days which will be organized by Artcrafts in collaboration with the Indian Embassy in the UAE from the 13th of August 2022 till the 15th of August 2022.

The first event under the program was the Inter School Painting Competition where more than 50 children from 10 schools participated. The event was organized at Dunes International School, Abu Dhabi. From the event, 25 selected artworks will be displayed at the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi from the 13th of August 2022 till the 15th of August 2022.

The second event was an International Competition based on four themes.

  1.  Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav,
  2.  One India Excellent India,
  3.  75 Years of Glorious Journey
  4.  Cultural Heritage of India.

260 Artists from all parts of the world participated and created artwork based on one of the above-mentioned themes. 

The last date for submission of artworks for the second event was 18th of July 2022. Appx 260 plus artists across the globe participated in this contest and gave their best effort. Online voting was held from 25th of July 2022 to 30th of July 2022 and appx 2 lacs votes given for the best artworks. Winners were selected based on online voting and jury votes and results announced on 1st August 2022!

In 16+ years Category

First prize of Rs.25000 and a special trophy announced for the best artwork of Mohan Ramesh Jadhav of Solapur Maharashtra and 2nd prize of Rs. 20000 and special trophy given to Arun Bhagwan Suryawanshi of Pune Maharashtra and Third prize of Rs. 15000 and special trophy given to Srinivasa Rao Kanumuri of Vishakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh.

In under 16 years Category

First prize with a special Trophy given to Dibyanka Debidutta Dash of Odisha and second prize with special trophy given to Arpit Rout of Odisha again. Third prize of special trophy given to Advika Girish Gokhale of Maharashtra.

Arts Exhibition at Indian Embassy, Abu Dhabi

Eminent artists of India and Abu Dhabi will make their artwork on these four themes. All unique artifacts will be displayed at the Embassy of India and will last for three days from 13th of August 2022.

 The best artwork will be awarded trophy, certificate, and cash prize.

The winners will be selected by a jury of eminent artists from India and abroad. Convenor of the competition Anil Kejriwal said that this competition is being sponsored by AJ Steel Pipes of Abu Dhabi. 

The Dubai and Abu Dhabi branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the Indian Business Promotion Group Abu Dhabi and Indian People’s Forum are also supporting as an Associate partner said Anil Kejriwal the founder and CEO of Artscrafts. Live painting and talk shows will also be organized at the Embassy of India during these three days.
