1. Chaat

From gol gappe and papri Chaat to aloo tikki, you get everything to satiate your taste buds. Relish the salty, sweet and tangy flavours and that’ll keep you going back for an extra papdi.

  1. Chole Bhature

What is better than a bowl of chickpeas flavoured to perfection along with a side of fresh chopped onions and green chillies, and fluffy bhature?

  1. Rolls

Whether kathi rolls, frankies or crisp paranthas wrapped with your desired filling, whatever you call them. Rolls are one of those delicacies that offer a great satisfying, appetizing and budget snack, of all time.

  1. Paranthas

Hot and piping, savoury paranthas served with a bowl full of curd can be the best meal for your breakfast, lunch or dinner as you like.

  1. Momo’s

You will find a momo’s joint in every other corner of any city, but what makes Delhi stand out of all is the variety that you get to try here. Starting from the steamed and fried momos, you have other options like tandoori momos, chocolate momos and what not.

6. Matar Kulcha

Whenever you hit the street, you will find at least five to six matar kulcha carts and all of them serving fresh baked kulchas along with steamed and delicious chickpeas topped with tomatoes, onions and green chillies.

Places to Try: Chawari Bazar, Old Rajinder Nagar, Haldiram’s, Bengali Market.

  1. Kulfi

The list is incomplete without the most preferred dessert ie. Kulfi. An ice-cream purely made of milk is offered in a variety of flavours, and especially mouth-watering matka kulfi topped with kesar, pista and faluda.

Places to try: Roshan di kulfi, Dilli Haat, Chawari Bazar.
