help you by suggesting some of the DIY decorations for at home Ganesh idols.
- Using Plants
You can use the planters from your balcony and arrange them according to the decoration, or you can even lay some mud around the idol and plant seeds to grow new fresh plants or herbs.
- Using Bottles

You can do so many things by using cardboard. Get innovative and creative and create different themes or Makars for this year’s Ganesh Chaturthi.
- Theme based
Elaborate your ideas and select a topic; it can be anything, recent news, a village, fairytale-themed, peacock themed, etc. the sky is the limit.
You don’t need to be so hard on yourself. Decorating should be fun and should be done together with your family, our Ganesha won’t mind if you don’t perfect the decoration, he just happy to be there with you.
