Artscrafts, one of the greatest exponents of global art and culture is back with an exquisite event with Indian art to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Under the patronage of the Indian Embassy, Abu Dhabi, Artscrafts is organizing a three-day art festival to commemorate 75 glorious years of Indian Independence. The festival is from 13th to 15th August 2022 at the Embassy of India Abu Dhabi. The event celebrates Indian art and artists in a unique way.

“Indian art is being watched with respect and wonder by the rest of the world. The depth of Indian art has been a topic of research for many.  It is because of the versatility that we bring into our creative domain. Our artists and their works are diverse in many ways but united in representing the true spirit of India. We are extremely proud that we are bringing in so many artworks and artists under one roof.”, says Anil Kejriwal, Founder, and CEO, Artscrafts.

Artscrafts organized an inter-school art competition in June at Dunes International School, Abu Dhabi. The best works from the competition are going to be exhibited in the Next Gen Gallery exclusively allotted for kids in the exhibition at the Embassy. There will also be a gallery for artists from India other than those living in UAE. The artworks have been carefully curated and shipped to UAE for the exhibition. The inauguration of the art exhibition will be at 10 am on 13th August 2022. The inaugural event shall be graced by the presence of many eminent personalities from India and the UAE. There are cultural programs, Panel Talks, Live Art, Kids’ Events, Art Therapy sessions, and many more to provide a holistic experience. The event has no participation fees or entry fees. Artscrafts is also providing free accommodation for the artists from other emirates for the three-day event.

More than fifty artists are taking part in the exhibition. Each day of the festival offers live paintings done by artists where the audience can watch the process of creation and get inspired. The distinguished speakers in the panel will be delivering talks on various topics to create awareness regarding various aspects of art. The Artscrafts team is also offering therapeutic art workshops for adults and kids which can be a stress reliever for people in the post- covid era. During the kids’ event medals and T-shirts will be distributed to all participants as a token of encouragement. More than sixty kids will be participating in two days of the event to create art as part of Independence Day celebrations. MNK Events and Prathibha Natyakshethra along with students from different schools are doing cultural programs on the 13th and 15th of August. The closing ceremony will take place at 3 pm on 15th Aug 2022 in the presence of notable personalities where art awards will be distributed by Artscrafts.
