Be Attractive

Navratri is a festival that brings along lots of fasting, feasting and festivities. It is also synonymous with dandiya, dance, music and loads of fun too. It’s time to bring out the backless cholis, colorful ghagras and vibrant dupattas. But what if we tell you there is something more you can do to look even prettier than before? As we all know there is a color to be worn on each day of Navratri, so we thought that why not implement that in your nail art as well in addition to your ghagra cholis! Great idea, isn’t it? Navratri begins on October 13th this year. Here are the top 10 types of nail art, according to the 10 colors of Navratri (Pratipada-1st and 2nd day has 2 different colors) that you can do this year:

1. OCTOBER 13-RED

Red (1)
The first color being red hot, here is the variety in designs that you can do. White design on red nail paint is clearly very in, as is glitter on red. Red is already a bright and eye catching color, so try to keep the design as simple as possible!

2. OCTOBER 14TH-NAVY BLUE

Navy-Blue
Blue is the one color that looks amazing on just about anybody! These above designs once again involve lots of glitter, and if at all you are not into it, then you can always go for the golden lining design. Its curvy, traditional and trendy as well.

3. OCTOBER 15-YELLOW

Yellow
Besides the floral print being very in right now, Aztec is another design that is totally trending right now. The unique part here is that you can do the Aztec print in a different color and just on one nail. It will catch exactly the right amount of attention and isn’t that what you need? The Aztec print can be black and white or even in colors that complement yellow.

4. OCTOBER 16-GREEN

Green
A peacock is what comes to mind when you think of this color. Whether it’s a deep bottle green or a dark matte satin green with gold flaky design, green is the ultimate color that looks so royal. Lace nail art is also another idea that looks great. You could also do a combination of two shades of green by coloring half of your nail with one color and other half with another.

5. OCTOBER 17-GREY

Grey
Once again, as you can see, glitter is going equally well with each of the colors. You can do a gradient of tints and tones of grey, and even stick rhinestones and other stick ons, to the classic cute and trendy floral pattern. You can choose between silver and gold glitter, but don’t both of them look equally good? Geometric shapes too will look good as the colors blend well together.

6. OCTOBER 18-ORANGE

Orange
Orange doesn’t just have to be a subtly bright one, but can also be neon, or even a slightly dull pastel. When mixed with gold glitter, it really looks brilliant as it does with chevron prints, dots and of course, florals.

7. OCTOBER 19-WHITE
White
When it comes to white, you can either go really simple or really glamourous. Simple golden or silver metallic strokes are also quite pretty. Stripes and full nail glitter also looks equally great.

8. OCTOBER 20-PINK

Pink
A pastel pink or hot pink looks equally nice, as long as you don’t mix them! The tip nail design also looks really great, and of course, lace nail art will always kill it. Go for a simple look if you are going for hot pink as opposed to pastel where you can experiment quite a bit.

9. OCTOBER 21-SKY BLUE

sky-blue
The sky blue is one hell of a cute color, isn’t it? We suggest that you make one unique nail art like in the above pictures. Like it, don’t you?

10. October 22-PURPLE

Purple
Since purple is a dark color already, we suggest you go easy on the nail art. Try for simple stuff like alternating between purple and golden nail paint. If you are the daring sort, then a dark shiny purple with white flowers would look good, but make sure you can pull it off with your outfit and makeup, it shouldn’t be over the top.
