So, we don’t need any ‘love-man’ to bring love into your life, rather Technology gives you the chance to be your own hero. What you need is only a smartphone and a will to commit your time. Let’s straight jump into the top dating applications for all kinds of singles out there.

1.OkCupid

The site supports multiple modes of communication, including instant messages and emails. OkCupid was listed in Time magazine’s 2007 Top 10 dating websites. To generate matches, OkCupid applies data generated by users’ activities on the site, as well as their answers to questions. When answering a question, a user indicates his or her own answer, the answers he or she would accept from partners, and the level of importance he or she places on the question. The results of these questions can be made public.

 

 

2.Coffee Meets Bagel

Coffee Meets Bagel was created by three sisters: Arum, Dawoon, and Soo Kang. On October 24, 2012, the app launched in San Francisco. It differs from other dating apps by limiting the number of profiles users can interact each day.[6]

Coffee Meets Bagel looks at each user’s Facebook account to help identify potential matches. A user is exposed to at least one match per day, but can only contact their matches if they “Like” them and their matches “Like” them back.

 

 

3.Tinder

Tinder is a location-based social search mobile app that allows users swipe left(dislike) or right(like) and allows users to chat if both parties swiped to the right. The app is used as a dating app or hookup app, depending on the user’s individual preference. Information available to the users is based on pictures from Facebook, a short bio that users write themselves, along with linking Instagram and Spotify account.

 

 

4.Hinge Matchmaker

Hinge Matchmaker that will allow people to see which of their friends are on Hinge, and then make recommendations by suggesting potential matches. The new app works by suggesting potential matches, based on the matchmaker’s pool of Facebook friends who are using Hinge.
The matchmaker can then recommend that the two people connect, and can even send an icebreaker message to get the conversation started. There’s also the option to take control of one specific friend’s dating life by locking their profile, which will then allow the matchmaker to rotate through the available matches for that person alone.

 

5.Happn

Happn is the hopeless romantic among dating apps, though the concept can sound a little creepy at first.

A lot of apps like Tinder that simply show you people within a few miles of you. Happn goes one step beyond: When you open it on your phone,  you’re greeted by a collection of other users with whom you’ve physically crossed paths with throughout your day. Since your Happn timeline is arranged chronologically, a charm also guarantees that your encounter won’t be lost among more recent encounters if that person traveled a lot that day.

 

 

6.Bumble

Bumble is a location-based social and dating application which facilitates communication between interested users. In heterosexual matches, the app permits only women to start a chat with their male matches, while in same-sex matches either party can message first, though all free users must reply to messages within 24 hours or the match disappears. According to Forbes, the company is valued at more than $1 billion.

 

 

7.Plenty of Fish(POF)

PlentyOfFish (POF) is an online dating service, popular primarily in Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil,[2] and the United States.[3] It is available in nine languages. The company, based in VancouverBritish Columbia[4] generates revenue through advertising and premium memberships.

 

 

8.Match.com

Match.com is an online dating service with web sites serving 25 countries in more than eight languages. Its headquarters are in Dallas, Texas. The company has offices in Dallas, West HollywoodSan FranciscoTokyoRio de Janeiro, and Beijing. Match.com is owned by IAC.

 

9.Clover

Clover is a mobile dating app which connects with a user’s Facebook account, or their email address, to create a new Clover profile. It is available for download for the iPhoneiPadiPod Touch, as well as, Android devices. Users can choose to turn their GPS location on or off and browse other users’ profiles anonymously. Users can interact with each other by liking each other, sending text and multimedia chat messages, sending gifts, requesting dates using the “On Demand Dating” feature, or setup chat groups or group events using the “Mixers” feature.
