On the occasion and celebration of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, Dunes International School in collaboration with Artscrafts.Co under the patronage of the Embassy of India in U.A.E, Abu Dhabi hosted an Inter-School Art competition on 19th June 2022. The Students of Grade 9 to 12, from 10 schools across the Abu Dhabi Emirate participated in the event proving the finesse in their artwork and maturity in their imagination. The students created magnificent paintings. Everyone was spellbound to see the budding artists equipped with colours and brushes merging them enthusiastically.
It was a pleasure to see the students communicating with colours and expressing creative ideas. It provided an opportunity for students to engage in skillful learning through art.
Students participated with great enthusiasm and zest. The competition was judged by eminent artists across the Emirates including Emirati Artist Ahmed Al Awadhi known as (Rukni), Guinness record Holder Artist Sarans Guruvayoor, Eminent Artist Pari Sagar from Dubai and Deeksha Bhargava and Sanjib Sarkar from Abu Dhabi and Mr Sudhir Balakrishnan MD and CEO of Riyah ME whose expertise and valuable feedback added to the glory of the event. Accomplished Social Worker Mr Girish Pant was special guest of this occasion and he discussed about his social works journey with the students. This event was supported by AJ steels of Abu Dhabi who is always available for all activities of arts and artists’ helps. CEO of AJ steel Mr Rajesh Chopra also graced the occasion and confirmed that AJ steel will always be there with Artscrafts for the promotion of arts. Indeed, the event provided a platform for their creative expression. The themes of the event were based on the Platinum jubilee of Indian independence, and it was well painted on the papers and canvas with all colours by all students and we are proud of our new generations says Anil Kejriwal who is founder and CEO of The Artscrafts.co. Mr. Paramjit Ahluwalia the principal of Dunes International school appraised the efforts of Artscrafts for their dedication towards arts and artists and he motivated all the students for their best works and as per him the participation is the winning so all the students who has participated are winners. Artscrafts.co is organizing a 3-day event in the month of August at the Indian embassy where the eminent artists of India and Indian friends’ countries will showcase their artworks and there all the best artworks of students will also be showcased under Gallery called “NextGen”. The ArtsCrafts provide a platform to all the artists across the globe at No cost where any artists can showcase their works by creating their webpage.
On UAE@50 Artscrafts also organized an art contest based on UAE heritage and cultures where more than 150 artists from 10 countries participated. presently the contest on the theme of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is going on where any artists from any part of world can participated and submit their artworks by mail at [email protected]
